Receiving the award in the electrical (between $250,000 and $1 million) category is E&S Electric for performing all electrical functions on the Cesar Chavez Elementary School on Madison's west side. This project's biggest distinction is the fact that it emphasizes ABC's core principals. Despite large amounts of pressure and criticism from outside groups, E&S was on top of this project, pushing the pace of other contractors to meet all goals and deadlines and reinforcing the city's decision to use an ABC member.
