Phenco is the project of distinction winner in the sitework category for the construction of a retaining wall, the demolition and rebuilding of three docks and the installation of 300-foot bin walls at the Rock Harbor Dock on Isle Royale National Park. Precise planning and coordination were key to the success of this project as all materials and supplies were transported by tugboat from Canada. Not only was the remote location a challenge, but the tourist season was beginning as construction was under way.
