The concept was to capture the flavor of old Boston and the wharf atmosphere associated with that area. In other words, build something new which represents an established structure with all the character and feeling of waterfront dining without being on the water. This was accomplished by integrating recycled building materials into the new construction throughout the interior and exterior of the building. The challenge for the team was to complete the facility in a timely manner while paying attention to every detail needed to make this facility "one of a kind".
