The Fox Valley Ambulatory Care Orthopedic Center project consists of a two story orthopedic clinic integrating surgical and physical therapy centers. This project showcased a unique make-up of curtainwall glass in the Lobby called Solexia consisting of fifty insulating glass units with grey dots within each unit for shading purposes. This two story curtainwall was constructed on both ends of the Lobby area and involved working off telescoping boom lifts in the cold, windy weather. Team work and aggressive scheduling was needed to complete this project including the fabrication and installation of aluminum entrances/storefront, the ICU doors, sliding automatic doors, HC operators and installation of the stairwell glass. Professionalism among all involved brought this project in on time and within budget.
