The freezer addition for Foremost Farms is one of the largest of its kind in the nation and involved wedging a new 12,000-square-foot addition between three existing buildings. To tie the
addition into the other buildings the end of the existing block structure was cut off, and the skin and superstructure of the existing metal building were removed. The plant was kept running while the existing freezer wall was removed for the addition. While the project expanded Foremost's loading dock, dock
operations were not disturbed. Many such delicate procedures were performed to accommodate a long-time client.
