The FVHA Susan Schuster Pet Resource Center was a true team effort from beginning to end. Beginning three years prior to construction, with planning and fundraising efforts, and culminating in a beautiful $2+ million 20,000 square foot facility, challenges conquered included: funding — over $270,000 raised in cash or in-kind donations; finding a unique but functional design concept - an Ark; and the construction demands of the project including 140 floor drains, masonry construction including rounded ends of the building, and FFA regulations. The community, FVHA, CCC and subcontractors all came together to make this very special project a great success!
