The Equinox is a 115 unit 12 story apartment building with 2 ½ levels of underground parking. The building has a post tensioned concrete frame from the parking levels through ninth floor and three levels built with a structural steel frame above that. The building will be home to many UW-Madison students returning for the fall 2006 semester. The project team worked closely with one another from pre-construction to move in day. Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, close monitoring of schedule, and teamwork, were the keys to completing this very attractive building on time and under budget.
