Statement
The Wisconsin
Green Building Alliance's mission is to facilitate and promote
the development and use of ecologically sustainable materials
and practices within Wisconsin's built environment.
Benefits
of Membership in WGBA
You are
cordially invited to join the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance
(WGBA) at a level appropriate to your individual or organizational
needs and interests. WGBA offers the following membership levels:
- Individual
Level ($45): As an Individual member of WGBA, you will receive
the WGBA newsletter, special mailings, invitations to peer networking
and educational speaking events, in addition to our membership
and resource directories.
- Student
Level, full-time student at an accredited college or university,
($25): As a student member of WGBA, your membership advantages
are the same as an Individual member. It's a great way to build
a network of professional peers while still in school.
- Small
Business (20 employees or less) and/or Nonprofit Organization
Level ($100): All of the benefits of Individual membership for
three representatives of your organization and a business card
advertisement in the resource directory. dCorporate (20 or more
employees) or Governmental Agency Level ($300): All of the benefits
of a Small Business membership for three representatives of your
organization and discounted Web site link and advertising.
- Corporate
Sustaining Level ($750): All of the benefits of WGBA Corporate
membership, a link on the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance Web
site, a feature article in the quarterly newsletter and a discount
to WGBA events.
- Sponsor
Level ($1,500): All of the benefits of Corporate Sustaining membership,
two free tickets to each policy conference and recognition on
Wisconsin Green Building Alliance letterhead and on all brochures
and publications.
- Benefactor
Level ($5,000 and up): All of the benefits of Sponsor membership,
one conference co-sponsorship and five free tickets to the annual
conference.
- Green
Champion Level ($10,000 and up): All of the benefits of Benefactor
membership and free advertising on the Wisconsin Green Building
Alliance Web site.
Upcoming
programs and events
- Sept.
21, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. - general membership dinner meeting and
presentation by Kurt Zimmerman of Zimmerman Design Group on the
new Johnson Controls LEEDS Certified Building in Milwaukee. $22.50
for members; $25.00 for nonmembers
- Oct.
11, 7 to 9 a.m. - "Green Breakfast Club" presentation
by David Gastrau on "Innovations in Green Architecture,"
Milwaukee Athletic Club. $20 for members; $25 for nonmembers
- Oct.
26, 5:30 to 9 p.m., joint WGBA/ACI meeting with panel discussion
on recycled materials in concrete. For more information, call

can Wisconsin Green Building Alliance do for me?
WGBA can
help advance your business and career by building networks through
conferences and events. Our educational forums provide an opportunity
for you to learn new techniques, share information and become
a leader in the green-building movement through peer discussion
and support. It's up to us to educate potential owners to the

recognized the need to educate themselves and their colleagues

Wisconsin
Green Building Alliance is the leading organization in Wisconsin
for networking with green building experts in the design and
construction industry, including architects, builders, contractors,
developers, facility managers, interior designers, landscape
architects, consultants, engineers, realtors, urban planners,
educators and environmental organizations.
WGBA provides
a variety of resources, including: an annual green building conference,
educational forums and site visits to green demonstration projects,
a quarterly newsletter and an annual assessment survey to keep
abreast of the needs of the industry.
