Siker, who founded the Minority Business Opportunity Committee,
was one of 10 who received an Innovator of the Year Award
from The Daily Reporter Publishing Company at a breakfast
Thursday at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. Siker was honored
for the success of the committee in using an Internet database
to link public or private contracts with hiring goals to disadvantaged
business enterprises.
