What is a Newsmaker?

Every fall, we ask that question as we prepare for our annual Newsmakers of the Year issue. We take a look at the companies and individuals who make up Wisconsin’s building community and honor those who have made their mark in the past year.

While never an easy task, it’s an honor for us to recognize those who often don’t seek out the spotlight. Whether contributing to our environment through green building or working on a
high-profile job, being politically progressive or playing an important role in development, our Newsmakers exemplify what it takes to be the best and bring out the best in other people.

As you read about our 2006 Newsmakers of the Year, I hope that you will enjoy learning
