Government Agencies

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) website contains statistics & inspection data, OSHA safety manuals, hazardous information bulletins as well as other agency memos, letters & documents relating to on-the-job safety. Most of these publications are available in Adobe Acrobat format. The site also contains a news release section that diagrams penalties imposed on companies for violating their regulations.

National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) was established by the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The site is a center of information containing the most frequently requested publications in printable formats. The site also contains current news from the Institute as well as a topic index that shows the publications broken down into specific industry categories.
