Kurt D. Boson

Kurt D. Boson is the co-owner, vice president and secretary of The Boson Company Inc., Marshfield. He started working with the contractor in 1985 after earning a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.

Boson, 45, represents the third generation of leadership in the company, which was started by his grandfather in 1932. But construction represents only a portion of Boson’s life.

He lives in Marshfield and is married to Ann with two child-ren, 16-year-old Alex and 10-year-old Tanner. And it’s in Marshfield that he’s cast a wide net of community service with involvement in the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield, the Kiwanis Club of Marshfield, Marshfield Tennis NOW!, Marshfield Area Youth Football and the Kiwanis Youth Basketball League.

It’s a safe bet that Boson doesn’t find himself with much idle time. But even the industry’s busiest people have a hard time refusing the call of Wisconsin Builder’s Burning Questions.
